Obraz smrti v českém znakovém jazyce

Abstract

(česky) Cílem této bakalářské práce je rekonstruovat jazykový obraz smrti v českém znakovém jazyce a v komunikaci českých neslyšících, zejména s oporou v pracích o jazykovém a kulturním obrazu smrti v češtině. S východiskem v kognitivně lingvistických a etnolingvistických přístupech jsou vyloženy pojmy kognitivní lingvistika, jazykový obraz světa a metafora. Smrt je v práci představena jako cílová a zdrojová oblast metafor v češtině a v českém znakovém jazyce a jako jedno z tabuových témat v těchto jazycích. Na základě vlastního výzkumu vedeného metodou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s pěticí neslyšících respondentů se práce zabývá znakovou zásobou vztahující se k sémantické oblasti smrti a umírání, otázkou její tabuovosti a způsobem tematizace smrti v komunikaci českých neslyšících. Součástí práce je glosář vybraných znaků vztahujících se k sémantické oblasti smrti, zejména se zaměřením na znaky SMRT/MRTVÝ/UMŘÍT, včetně jejich variant. (in English) This bachelor's thesis aims to reconstruct the linguistic image of death in Czech sign language and the communication of Czech Deaf people, especially with support from works on the linguistic and cultural image of death in Czech. With a background in cognitive linguistic and ethnolinguistic approaches, the concepts of cognitive linguistics, linguistic image of the world, and metaphor are explained. Death is presented as a target and source area of metaphors in Czech and Czech sign language and as one of the taboo topics in these languages. Based on the research conducted by semi-structured interviews with five Deaf respondents, the thesis deals with the sign vocabulary related to the semantic area of death and dying, the question of its taboo nature, and the way of thematisation of death in the communication of Czech Deaf people. The thesis includes a glossary of selected features related to the semantic area of death, especially focusing on the features of DEATH/DEAD/DYING, including their variants.
