Tvárnost fonologických reprezentací a faktory, které ji ovlivňují

Abstract

Diplomová práce představuje konceptuální replikaci studie Lev-Ari (2017) Talking to fewer people leads to having more malleable linguistic representations, která dochází k závěru, že velikost sociální sítě má přímý vliv na tvárnost fonologických reprezentací. Konceptuální replikace na češtině oproti původní studii reflektuje nejen samotnou velikost sociální sítě, ale rovněž charakterovou dimenzi kooperativnosti, která by mohla tvárnost jazykových reprezentací jedinců také ovlivňovat. V teoretické části je představena relevantní literatura zabývající se vztahem jazyka a sociálních sítí, prostor je věnován rovněž modelům osobnosti. Podrobněji je popsán Cloningerovův dotazník TCI-R, jehož součástí je zmíněná škála kooperativnosti. V metodologické části je prezentován detailní návrh experimentálního zkoumání, včetně odůvodnění výběru řečových stimulů adekvátních pro replikaci experimentu v českém jazykovém prostředí a jejich následné tvorby. Jádrem předkládaného výzkumu je samotný experiment, který sestával z úlohy výběru obrázku, úlohy kategorizace fonémů a dotazníku na velikost sociální sítě a kooperativnost. This diploma thesis constitutes a conceptual replication of Lev-Ari's (2017) paper titled Talking to fewer people leads to having more malleable linguistic representations, which claims that social network size directly influences the malleability of phonological representations. Compared to the original paper, the conceptual replication in the Czech language reflects not only the size of the social network itself, but also the character dimension of cooperativeness, which might also have an effect on the malleability of individuals' linguistic representations. The theoretical section provides a comprehensive overview of the relevant literature concerning the relationship between language and social networks, and theoretical focus is also given to personality models, predominantly Cloninger's temperament and character framework (1999), which includes the aforementioned cooperativeness scale. The methodological section presents in detail the design of the experimental investigation, including the justification for the selection of speech stimuli suitable for the Czech replication and how they were carefully produced.
