| uk.abstract.en | The study analyzes the origin, ownership structure and business activities of the Print ing and Publishing Cooperative of Czech Agrarians Novina from its establishment to the end of the interwar era. It demonstrates the specifics of business in a highly po liticized and nationalized area of the Bohemian Lands/Czechoslovakia, which go be yond the standard textbook paradigms of economics. The starting point of the text is the institutional background of Novina. This is followed by an examination of the mechanism of decision-making processes and the search for answers to the question of the company’s economic results in situations where only fragmentary and dispa rate sources are available. | cs |
