Ženy a antistruktura: nebezpečná autonomie žen během oslav Thesmoforií

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá postavením žen, mytologickým pozadím a rituály prováděných během oslav Thesmoforií, které se odehrávaly v Athénách (ale i jiných řeckých obcích) v 5. st. př. n. l. Opírá se o primární prameny - především o Aristofanovu komedii Ženy o Thesmoforiích a o nejnovější teorie z řad sekundárních pramenů. Cílem této práce je poskytnout hlubší vhled do role žen během oslav Thesmoforií, jejich nezávislost na mužích a obecně antistrukturálního jednání s nimi spojeným.

This bachelor's thesis examines the status of women, the mythological background and the rituals performed during the celebration of Thesmophoria, which took place in Athens (and other Greek communities) in the 5th century BC. It draws on primary sources - especially Aristophanes' comedy The Women of Thesmophoria - and on recent theories from secondary sources. The aim of this thesis is to provide deeper insight into the role of women during the celebration of the Thesmophoria, their independence from men and the general anti-structural behaviour associated with them.
