Online diskuze ke klimatické změně v rámci zpravodajství o klimatických summitech

Abstract

Tématem práce je analýza diskuzí ke klimatické změně v online prostředí. Jejím cílem je zmapovat a popsat, jak se projevuje veřejnost v otázce řešení klimatické krize a jaká jsou specifika této diskuze v online prostředí. Práce ve své teoretické části přibližuje historické pozadí klimatických dohod, seznamuje s českou klimatickou politikou a věnuje se postojům veřejnosti ke klimatické změně. V rámci tématu jsou zkoumány diskuze na zpravodajských webech pod články o klimatických summitech, na kterých jsou klimatické dohody uzavírány, a ekvivalentní diskuze na sociálních sítích těchto zpravodajských webů. První část výzkumu vychází ze studie Katy Balint Climate Change Reporting in Hungary: The Evolving Nature of Messaging among Government-Affiliated Media and Pundits (2021), podrobuje příspěvky v diskuzích analýze z tematického hlediska a v návaznosti na to sleduje narativy a další specifika, která se v rámci daných témat objevují. Druhá část výzkumu se odvolává na práci Williama F. Lamba Discourses of climate delay (2020) a analyzuje, jaké typy argumentů jsou používány pro oddalování klimatických řešení. The topic of the work is the analysis of discussions on climate change in the online environment. Its goal is to map and describe how the public expresses itself on the issue of solving the climate crisis and what are the specifics of this discussion in the online environment. In its theoretical part, the thesis provides an overview of the historical background of climate agreements, introduces the Czech climate policy and addresses public attitudes towards climate change. Discussions on news websites under articles about climate summits at which climate agreements are concluded and equivalent discussions on social networks of these news websites are examined within the topic. The first part of the research is based on Katy Balint's study Climate Change Reporting in Hungary: The Evolving Nature of Messaging among Government-Affiliated Media and Pundits (2021), it subjects the contributions in discussions to analysis from a thematic point of view and, following this, follows the narratives and other specifics that appear within the given topics. The second part of the research refers to the work of William F. Lamb Discourses of climate delay (2020) and analyses what types of arguments are used to delay climate solutions.
