Vztah kritického myšlení o mediálních sděleních a rizika rozvoje onemocnění poruchou příjmu potravy u adolescentů

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rizikem rozvoje poruch příjmu potravy, vnímáním vlastního těla a roli kritického myšlení o mediálních sdělení jakožto rámce mediální gramotnosti. Literárně- přehledová část práce vymezuje období adolescence, stručně představuje onemocnění poruch příjmu potravy a zkoumá faktory, které mohou působit a zvyšovat riziko rozvoje tohoto onemocnění. V práci je popis rozvoje vzniku poruch příjmu potravy zaměřený na období adolescence, které je literaturou považováno za rizikové vývojové období. Těžištěm práce je rozbor působení sociokulturních faktorů na změny ve vnímání vlastního těla a sebepojetí. Hlavním cílem této práce je popsat nejnovějších zjištění o souvislostech mediální gramotnosti a kritického myšlení o mediálních sdělení při čelení ideálům krásy skrze expozici médiím. V práci se snažíme ověřit platnost tvrzení, která popisují mediální gramotnost a kritické myšlení o mediálních sdělení jako ochranný faktor vůči negativním vlivům médií. Tomu se věnuje empirická část této práce, ve které porovnáváme úroveň kritického myšlení o mediálních sdělení s úrovní rizika patologie poruch příjmu potravy u adolescentů. This bachelor thesis explores the risk of developing eating disorders, perceptions of one's own body and the role of critical thinking about media messages as a framework for media literacy. The literature review section of the thesis defines the period of adolescence, briefly introduces the eating disorder and explores the factors that may influence and increase the risk of developing the disorder. The thesis provides a description of the development of eating disorders focusing on the period of adolescence, which is considered by the literature to be a high-risk developmental period. The focus of the thesis is the analysis of the effect of sociocultural factors on changes in self-perception and self-concept. The main aim of this thesis is to describe recent findings on the links between media literacy and critical thinking about media messages when facing beauty ideals through media exposure. In this paper, we seek to test the validity of claims that describe media literacy and critical thinking about media messages as a protective factor against negative media influences.
