Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 - Restructured Form (MMPI-2-RF): Vývoj metody a porovnání s MMPI-2, přehled škál, kontexty využití

Abstract

Předložená bakalářská práce je zabývá metodou Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory- 2 - Restructured Form (MMPI-2-RF), která měří psychopatologii, a je nástupcem jednoho z nepoužívanějších psychologických dotazníků, MMPI-2. Práce je zpracována formou literární rešerše a je rozdělena do tří částí. V první části bude představena původní verze MMPI, MMPI- 2 a následně bude popsán vývoj všech sad škál MMPI-2-RF. MMPI-2-RF je poté porovnána s MMPI-2 a MMPI-2-RF je dosazena do moderních psychopatologických modelů. Druhá část práce se zabývá přehledem jednotlivých škál. Jsou vypsány všechny škály metody MMPI-2- RF, mezi které patří škály validity, škály vyššího řádu, restrukturované klinické škály, škály specifických potíží, škály zájmů a revidované škály psychopatologie osobnosti. U každé škály je vypsáno, co měří a jaké má koreláty, které byly identifikovány na základě studií. Stejně tak bude uvedena jejich doporučená interpretace. Ve třetí části této práce jsou vypsány kontexty využití MMPI-2-RF, tj. jeho oblasti aplikovatelnosti. MMPI-2-RF nalézá využití v somatické medicíně, ve forenzní psychologie a při vyšetření poruch osobnosti.

The present bachelor's thesis is concerned with the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 - Restructured Form (MMPI-2-RF), which measures psychopathology and is the successor to one of the most widely used psychological inventories, the MMPI-2. The thesis is presented in the form of a literature review and is divided into three parts. The first part will introduce the original version of the MMPI, the MMPI-2, and then describe the development of each set of MMPI-2-RF scales. The MMPI-2-RF is then compared with the MMPI-2 and the MMPI-2-RF is fitted to modern psychopathological models. The second part of the thesis deals with an overview of each scale. All scales of the MMPI-2-RF will be listed, including validity scales, higher order scales, restructured clinical scales, specific problem scales, interest scales, and personality psychopathology-five - revised. Each scale lists what it measures and what correlates it has that have been identified from studies. Their recommended interpretation will also be noted. In the third section of this paper, the contexts of use of the MMPI-2-RF, i.e., its areas of applicability, are listed. The MMPI-2-RF finds applications in somatic medicine, in forensic psychology and in the assessment of personality disorders.
