Lékaři ve službách české a moravské šlechty v 16. a v první polovině 17. století

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem medicíny v šestnáctém a na počátku sedmnáctého století, s důrazem na postavení lékařů ve společnosti a jejich uplatnění ve službách české a moravské šlechty. Hlavními metodami byly prosopografie a případová studie, které zahrnovaly analýzu korespondence a deníků významných osobností, jako byl Karel starší ze Žerotína a Matyáš Borbonius. Významné prameny zahrnovaly biografické slovníky, univerzitní matriky, lékařské knihy a osobní deníky, které poskytly hluboký vhled do tehdejší lékařské praxe.

This bachelor thesis deals with the development of medicine in the sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries, with an emphasis on the position of physicians in society and their application in the service of the Bohemian and Moravian nobility. The main methods were prosopography and case studies, which included the analysis of correspondence and diaries of important personalities such as Karel starší ze Žerotína and Matyáš Borbonius. Important sources included biographical dictionaries, university registers, medical books and personal diaries, which provided deep insights into medical practice at the time.
