Etnopsychiatrie jako tematická oblast sociokulturních výzkumů

Abstract

The subject of the bachelor's thesis will be the empirical-theoretical description, analysis, and interpretation of the research potential of ethnopychiatry as a relatively new area of medical anthropology. Special attention will be given to dissociation and its interpretation from a transcultural perspective. The comparative method will be used, through which the approach of Western biomedicine and alternative medicine to the phenomenon of dissociation will be compared. The thesis will consist of two relatively independent parts. The first part will provide a historical overview of ethnopsychiatric research issues and outline the current state of the research problem. The second part of the thesis will present different perspectives on the alternative approach to dissociation from the standpoint of diverse cultures. The research will include an empirical inquiry conducted through a questionnaire. The aim of the thesis is to contribute, at least to some extent, to the presentation of ethnopsychiatry as a part of the dynamically developing field of medical anthropology. Předmětem bakalářské práce bude epiricko-teoretická deskripce, analýza a interpretace výzkumného potenciálu etnopsychiatrie jako relativně nové oblasti antropologie medicíny. Zvláštní pozornost bude věnována disociaci a její interpretaci v transkulturní perspektivě. V práci bude použita komparativní metoda, jejímž prostřednictvím bude srovnán přístup západní biomedicíny a alternativní medicíny k fenoménu disociace. Práci budou tvořit dvě relativně samostatné části. V první části bude proveden historický exkurz do problematiky etnopsychiatrických výzkumů a nastíněn současný stav zkoumané problematiky. Ve druhé části práce budou formulovány různé pohledy na alternativní přístup k disociaci z perspektivy odlišných kultur. Součástí výzkumu bude empirická sonda provedená prostřednictvím dotazníku. Cílem práce je přispět alespoň dílčím způsobem k prezentaci etnopsychiatrie jako součásti dynamicky se rozvíjejícího oboru medicínské antropologie.
