Dračí slavnosti města Trutnova

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zakladatelskou legendou města Trutnov a jejím přesahem do moderní struktury města a občanského života. Práce představuje a popisuje různé variace místní legendy a sleduje, jak se liší od ostatních zakladatelských legend podobného typu. Dále pak ukazuje, jak se prvky této městské mytologie odráží v reáliích města. Blíže se pak zaměřuje na symbol draka a jeho roli v různých sférách a identitě města.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the founding legend of the city of Trutnov and its influence on the modern structure of the city and civic life. The work presents and describes the several variations of the local legend and traces how they differ from other founding legends of a similar type. Furthermore, it shows how the elements of this urban mythology are reflected in the realities of the city. It then focuses more closely on the symbol of the dragon and its role in various spheres of the city and the city's identity.
