Vliv melodicko-temporální struktury na hodnocení cizineckého přízvuku v češtině

Abstract

(anglicky) The aim of this thesis was to describe the impact of melodic-temporal structure on the evaluation of the degree of foreign accent in Czech. Therefore, I analyzed recordings of native speakers of Ukrainianand Russian.To assess the influence of melodic-temporalchanges, I editedthe recordings, in both domains together and in each separately.In addition,I analyzed the recordings of Czech speakers for comparison.I analyzedall of these recordings acoustically, and at the same time, using a selection of them, I created and conducted a perceptual test in which listeners rated the degree of foreign accent in all four conditions. The results of the perceptual test showed a positive effect of the modifications in melodic-temporal structure on the evaluation of the foreign accent; although the modifications in the domains themselves did not show statistical significance, the temporal modifications showed a visible tendency to improve the evaluation scores. Melodic adjustments did not show a convincing effect on ratings. The acoustic analysis showed deviations from the average articulatory rate, narrower pitch range and lower maximum melodic slope steepness for the foreign speech. (česky) Cílem této práce bylo popsat vliv melodicko-temporální struktury na hodnocení míry cizineckého přízvuku v češtině. Analyzovala jsem proto nahrávky rodilých mluvčích ukrajinštiny a ruštiny. Pro zhodnocení vlivu melodicko-temporálních změn jsem vytvořila upravené nahrávky, a to jak v obou doménách dohromady, tak v každé zvlášť. Navíc jsem pro porovnání provedla analýzu nahrávek českých mluvčích. Všechny tyto nahrávky jsem podrobila akustické analýze a zároveň jsem s pomocí vybraných z nich vytvořila a provedla percepční test, ve kterém posluchači hodnotili míru cizineckého přízvuku ve všech čtyřech podmínkách. Výsledky percepčního testu prokázaly pozitivní vliv úprav na hodnocení cizineckého přízvuku; úpravy v samotných doménách sice neprokázaly statistickou významnost, u časových úprav se však projevila viditelná tendence ke zlepšování skóre hodnocení. Akustická analýza ukázala pro cizinecký projev odchylky od průměrného artikulačního tempa, užší intonační rozpětí a nižší maximální strmost melodického průběhu.
