Stereotypizace žen na vysokých pozicích v české televizní tvorbě

Abstract

Diplomová práce je na téma Stereotypizace žen na vysokých pozicích v české televizní tvorbě. Analýza tří českých seriálů Odznak Vysočina, Anatomie života a Zoo zkoumá zpracování ženských hrdinek ve vedení a pokouší se o odhalení jejich možné stereotypizace. Výzkum je zpracován pomocí narativní analýzy doplněnou o kvalitativní analýzu. Teoretická část práce vychází z teze, že leadership je genderový koncept, jež je ukotven v maskulinitě, což vychází z historické dominance mužů na nejvyšších pozicích. Ženské rysy jsou považovány za nehodící se pro roli lídra, což vede k předsudkům, že ženy se na tyto pozice nehodí. Na základě těchto představ ženy lídři doteď čelí genderovým stereotypům a předsudkům. Cílem této práce je odhalit, jakým způsobem jsou konstruovány narativy ženských postav ve vedení a nachází-li se v jejich zobrazení genderové stereotypy. Narativní analýza je aplikována na tří výzkumné dimenze, které se stávají předmětem zkoumání. Dimenzemi jsou postavení ženské hrdinky v narativu, konstrukce ženy ve vedení jako lídra a konstrukce feminity ženy ve vedení. Výsledná práce má za cíl přispět k debatě o reprezentaci žen na vysokých pozicích v médiích a způsob, jakým přistupují k jejich konstrukci jako lídrů.

The diploma thesis examines the topic of Stereotyping females in high positions in Czech television shows. An analysis of three Czech series Odznak Vysočina, Anatomie života and Zoo examines the treatment of female protagonists in leadership and attempts to reveal their possible stereotyping. The research is conducted using narrative analysis supplemented by qualitative analysis. The theoretical part of the work is based on the thesis that leadership is a gender concept that is anchored in masculinity, which is based on the historical dominance of men in the highest positions. Feminine traits are sought out as unsuited for leadership roles, leading to prejudices that women are not suited for these positions. Based on these ideas, women leaders still face gender stereotypes and prejudices. The aim of this work is to reveal how the narratives of female figures in leadership are constructed and if there are gender stereotypes in their portrayal. Narrative analysis is applied to three research dimensions that are used with existing testing. The dimensions are the position of female protagonists in the narrative, the construction of a woman in leadership as a leader, and the construction of the femininity of a woman in leadership.
