Incidence ventilátorové pneumonie v České republice

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá incidencí ventilátorové pneumonie (VAP) v České republice a je součástí českého národního výzkumu nazvaného Vliv implementovaného preventivního balíčku nebo jeho jednotlivých součástí u dospělých uměle ventilovaných pacientů na incidenci ventilátorem asociované pneumonie. Realizován je pod záštitou České asociace sester, sekce ARIP. Pro jmenovaný výzkum byly stanoveny dva cíle: 1.) Zjistit, jaký je podíl (procento) incidence výskytu ventilátorové pneumonie v nemocničních zařízeních v České republice za rok 2022 a 2023. 2.) Zjistit, kolik nemocnic si vede záznamy o výskytu VAP. Cíle byly splněny pomocí kvantitativního výzkumu, který probíhal online formou rozesílání dotazníků na konkrétní pracoviště. Teoretická část diplomové práce se zabývá VAP, popisuje etiologii, léčbu, diagnostiku apod., byla rozpracována i témata týkající se incidence VAP. Výsledky realizovaného výzkumu ukazují, že incidence VAP v České republice není významně vyšší než 30 %. Záznamy o výskytu VAP si nevede více jak 50 % oddělení. Dále bylo zjištěno, že vedení záznamů o výskytu VAP je ovlivněno typem nemocnice. Klíčová slova: incidence; ventilátorová pneumonie, prevence, intervence, role sestry komplikace, mortalita

This thesis deals with the incidence of ventilator pneumonia (VAP) in the Czech Republic and is part of the national research - the impact of implemented preventive package or its individual components in adult artificially ventilated patients on ventilator associated pneumony incidence - Czech national research, which is under the auspices of the Czech Association of Nurses, section ARIP. Two goals were set for our research. Find out what is the incidence of ventilator pneumonia in hospital facilities in the Czech Republic for 2022 and 2023. The second goal was to determine how many hospitals keep records of VAP incidence. The objectives were achieved through quantitative research, which was conducted online by sending a questionnaire to a specific workplace. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with VAP, in addition to the described etiology, treatment, diagnosis etc., the topics related to the incidence of VAP have also been developed. The results of our research show that the incidence of VAP in the Czech Republic is not significantly higher than 30 %. VAP records are not kept in more than 50 % of departments.
