Analýza postojů k genderovým rolím a jejich harmonizaci v české společnosti

Abstract

This thesis examines gender roles and their development in Czech society. The theoretical part defines the concepts of gender and sex, examines gender roles and the combination of work and family roles, with an emphasis on the changes in attitudes towards gender roles over time. The thesis draws on previous research and analyses of attitudes towards gender roles. It combines secondary analysis of data from the ISSP international research project with analysis of qualitative interviews. The research objectives include describing the attitudes of Czech society towards gender roles, verifying the existing findings in a new context and examining the influence of the current gender structure on attitudes towards gender roles and the harmonisation of work and family responsibilities. Several key findings regarding gender roles in Czech society emerged from the analysis. Data from the ISSP secondary analysis shows that attitudes towards gender roles are not static and undergo changes over time. Some trends in the view of gender roles in the family and at work have been identified that indicate a shift away from traditional models. Tato diplomová práce zkoumá genderové role a jejich vývoj v české společnosti. V teoretické části jsou definovány pojmy gender a pohlaví, zkoumány genderové role a kombinace pracovních a rodinných rolí, s důrazem na proměny přístupů k rolím žen a mužů v průběhu času. Práce vychází z předešlých výzkumů a analýz postojů k genderovým rolím. Kombinuje sekundární analýzu dat z mezinárodního výzkumného projektu ISSP s analýzou kvalitativních rozhovorů. Výzkumné cíle zahrnují popis postojů české společnosti k genderovým rolím, ověření dosavadních poznatků v novém kontextu a zkoumání vlivu současné genderové struktury na postoje k genderovým rolím a harmonizaci pracovních a rodinných povinností. Z analýzy vyplynulo několik klíčových poznatků týkajících se genderových rolí v české společnosti. Z dat sekundární analýzy ISSP vyplývá, že postoje k genderovým rolím nejsou statické a procházejí změnami v čase. Byly identifikovány některé trendy v pohledu na role žen a mužů v rodině a v zaměstnání, které ukazují na posun od tradičních modelů. Kvalitativní analýza rozhovorů poskytuje hlubší vhled do individuálních postojů a zkušeností respondentů. Ukazuje se, že i přes společenský pokrok stále existují očekávání spojená s genderovými rolemi.
