Specifika ošetřovatelské péče u dětského pacienta po operaci kýly

Abstract

The presented bachelor's thesis is focused on the specifics of nursing care of a pediatric patient after hernia surgery. In the theoretical part, the concepts such as nursing, the nursing process, and pediatric patient are characterized. Furthermore, the theoretical part contains a review of relevant knowledge concerning hernias, their general description, types of hernias, symptomatology, and therapy in pediatric patients. The empirical part of the thesis aims to compare nursing care standards following hernia surgery in selected university hospitals. A quantitative questionnaire survey using a non-standardized questionnaire was chosen as a research method. The questionnaire survey was conducted at Thomayer University Hospital, Motol University Hospital, and Bulovka University Hospital. A total of 64 questionnaires were analyzed, of which 54 were in electronic form and 10 in printed form. The return rate of these questionnaires was 100 %. The research results showed that individual nursing standards differ by department only minimally, for example in patient monitoring after surgery, or in the length of patinet's hospitalization after hernia surgery. Předkládaná bakalářská práce je věnována specifikům ošetřovatelské péče u dětského pacienta po operaci kýly. V teoretické části jsou charakterizovány pojmy jako ošetřovatelství, ošetřovatelský proces a dětský pacient. Teoretická část dále obsahuje přehled relevantních poznatků týkajících se kýl, jejich obecný popis, druhy kýl, symptomatologie a terapie u dětských pacientů. Cílem empirické části práce je porovnat standardy ošetřovatelské péče po operaci kýly ve vybraných fakultních nemocnicích. Jako výzkumná metoda bylo zvoleno kvantitativní dotazníkové šetření za pomoci nestandardizovaného dotazníku. Dotazníkové šetření se uskutečnilo ve Fakultní Thomayerově nemocnici, Fakultní nemocnici v Motole a Fakultní nemocnici Bulovka. Analyzováno bylo celkem 64 dotazníků, z toho 54 dotazníků v elektronické podobě a 10 v tištěné podobě. Návratnost těchto dotazníků dosáhla 100 %. Z výsledků výzkumného šetření vyplynulo, že mezi odděleními se jednotlivé ošetřovatelské standardy liší jen minimálně, například ve sledování pacienta po operaci, nebo v délce hospitalizace pacienta po operaci kýly. Dále byly zjištěny i jiné odlišnosti, zejména v edukaci pacientů po operaci kýly a v používání edukačních pomůcek. V závěru práce jsou reflektovány výsledky šetření.
