Role pracovníků neziskových organizací při integraci imigrantů do české společnosti

Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze how workers and volunteers of non-profit organizations reflect their own role in the integration of immigrants into Czech society and how they perceive the broader benefits of these organizations. The work focuses on workers and volunteers of non-profit organizations in the field of integration of foreigners, whose services include educational activities. The target group of these services are adult immigrants and, at the same time, representatives of the majority society (teachers, social workers, officials, etc.). For the purposes of the thesis, the organizations selected are those that work with adult immigrants, provide counselling and educational services, are based (or have a branch) in Prague and have a volunteer program. First, the thesis focuses on the state of immigration and its development in the territory of the Czech Republic and on the migration and integration policy of the Czech Republic. Then the topic of the non-profit sector and non-profit organizations is introduced, followed by a section of volunteering and motivation for volunteering, as well as mentoring and group programs for foreigners. Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat, jak pracovníci a dobrovolníci neziskových organizací reflektují vlastní roli v integraci imigrantů do české společnosti a jak vnímají širší přínosy těchto organizací. Práce se zaměřuje na pracovníky a dobrovolníky neziskových organizací z oblasti integrace cizinců, mezi jejichž služby patří vzdělávací činnosti. Cílovou skupinou těchto služeb jsou dospělí imigranti a zároveň představitelé majoritní společnosti (pedagogové, sociální pracovníci, úředníci ad.). Pro účely práce byly vybrány organizace, které se věnují dospělým imigrantům, mezi jejich poskytované služby patří poradenská i vzdělávací činnost, sídlí (nebo mají pobočku) v Praze a mají dobrovolnický program. Nejprve se práce soustředí na stav imigrace a její vývoj na území České republiky a na migrační a integrační politiku České republiky. Poté je představeno téma neziskového sektoru a neziskové organizace, na které navazuje část věnována dobrovolnictví a motivaci pro dobrovolnickou činnost a dále zde jsou představeny mentoringové a skupinové programy pro cizince. Součástí práce je rovněž část, která shrnuje nedávná šetření podporující tezi, že právě vzdělávání je efektivním nástrojem integrace.
