Možnosti podpory rodičovských kompetencí u nezletilých matek

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of supporting parental competences for underage mothers. It introduces the period of adolescence in girls, the issues of early pregnancy and early motherhood, and together with the practical part, it deals with the importance of parental competences and their strengthening in the context of social work. The aim of the final thesis is to describe the difficult situation of girls who became mothers at a minor age, and further to find out and describe whether, to what extent and in what way the parental competences of minor mothers were or are being supported in the home environment. To achieve the results, a qualitative research strategy was chosen using a semi- structured interview that was conducted with five minor mothers. The conducted investigation points out that the interviewed girls who decided to raise their child at home were not offered or provided any support for parental competences by experts. Due to the seriousness and complexity of the situation of early motherhood, the results of the survey should lead to some reflection on the involvement of helping professions and to further research and finding out how to make the difficult life situation easier for underage mothers.

Diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi podpory rodičovských kompetencí u nezletilých matek. Seznamuje s obdobím dospívání u dívek, s problematikou předčasné gravidity a předčasného mateřství, dále se společně s praktickou částí věnuje významu rodičovských kompetencí a jejich posilování v kontextu sociální práce. Cílem závěrečné práce je popsání obtížné situace dívek, které se v nezletilém věku staly matkami a dále zjištění a popsání, zda, nakolik a jakým způsobem byly, či jsou podporovány rodičovské kompetence u nezletilých matek v domácím prostředí. K dosažení výsledků byla zvolena výzkumná strategie kvalitativní s využitím polostrukturovaného rozhovoru, který byl veden s pěti nezletilými matkami. Provedené šetření poukazuje na to, že dotazovaným dívkám, jež se rozhodly dítě vychovávat v domácím prostředí nebyla nabídnuta a poskytnuta žádná možnost podpory rodičovských kompetencí ze strany odborníků. Vzhledem k závažnosti a složitosti situace předčasného mateřství by výsledky šetření měly vést k určitému zamyšlení se nad angažovaností pomáhajících profesí a dále k dalšímu zkoumání a zjišťování, jak nezletilým matkám nelehkou životní situaci usnadnit.
