Analýza studijní neúspěšnosti studentů FTVS v oborech Management TVS a Fyzioterapie

Abstract

Title: Analysis of drop-out rates of FTVS students in the Management of TVS and Physiotherapy study programs. Objectives: Main objective of this master theses is to analyse the development of student drop- out and graduation rates in the bachelor's and master's degree programs in Physiotherapy and Management of physical education and sport at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport in last twelve years based on data from SIMS (Student Information Matrix). Methods: The paper uses the method of analysis of cohort failure rate linked to the year of enrolment and the calculation of graduation rate based on the methodology of calculation of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in the framework of the rules for financing public universities. Results: The academic dropout rate in the monitored programmes varies more over the monitored years. Graduation rate values show more stability. The development in study programmes is different, even for the same types of study programmes. The dropout rate in Bachelor's degree programmes is higher than in Master's degree programmes and so is the graduation rate. Název: Analýza studijní neúspěšnosti studentů FTVS v oborech Management TVS a Fyzioterapie Cíle: Hlavním cílem této práce je analýza vývoje studijní neúspěšnosti a graduation rate v bakalářských a navazujících magisterských studijních programech Fyzioterapie a Managementu tělesné výchovy a sportu na FTVS v posledních dvanácti letech na základě dat ze SIMS (sdružené informační matriky studentů). Metody: V práci je využita metoda analýzy kohortní míry neúspěšnosti vázané na rok zápisu a výpočet graduation rate na základě metodiky výpočtu MŠMT v rámci pravidel pro financování VVŠ. Výsledky: Studijní neúspěšnost ve sledovaných programech se v průběhu sledovaných let více mění. Hodnoty graduation rate jsou stabilnější. Vývoj ve studijních programech je odlišný, a to i u stejných typů studijních programů. Neúspěšnost v bakalářských studijních programech je vyšší než v navazujících magisterských studijních programech a stejně tak i graduation rate. Studijní programy Fyzioterapie mají menší studijní neúspěšnost než studijní programy Managementu TVS a vyšší graduation rate. Studijní programy Fyzioterapie patří v rámci studijní neúspěšnosti k těm lepším v rámci Univerzity Karlovy i FTVS. Studijní programy Managementu TVS jsou na stejné úrovni jako výsledky UK a FTVS.
