Kvalita života pacientů s umělou srdeční podporou HeartMate3

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis deals with the quality of life of patients with HeartMate 3 artificial heart support. This thesis is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part deals with the basic description of the heart, its anatomical and physiological structure. It deals with the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic heart failure. Basic data regarding HeartMate 3 artificial cardiac support and nursing care for percutaneous cable dressing are described here. The empirical part is devoted to qualitative research, which is conducted in the form of interviews with five patients at IKEM on a standard cardiac surgery inpatient ward. It examines what symptoms the heart failure patients have started to manifest and what limitations they have in their daily life due to the HeartMate 3. It tries to find out self-sufficiency in personal hygiene in the shower, when dressing the percutaneous cable, physical activity at home and outside, and the ability to travel. Bakalářská práce se zabývá otázkou kvality života pacientů s umělou srdeční podporou HeartMate 3. Tato práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část se zabývá základním popisem srdce, jeho anatomickou a fyziologickou strukturou. Zabývá se příznaky, diagnostikou a léčbou akutního a chronického srdečního selhání. Jsou zde popsány základní údaje ohledně umělé srdeční podpory HeartMate 3 a ošetřovatelská péče o převaz perkutánního kabelu. Empirická část je věnována kvalitativnímu výzkumu, který je prováděn formou rozhovorů s pěti pacienty v IKEMu na standardním kardiochirurgickém lůžkovém oddělení. Zkoumá, jakými příznaky se srdeční selhání u pacientů začalo projevovat a jaká omezení mají v jejich běžném životě kvůli HeartMate 3. Snaží se zjistit soběstačnost v osobní hygieně ve sprše, při převazu perkutánního kabelu, pohybovou aktivitu doma i venku a schopnost cestování.
