Abstract

This thesis examines Spanish constructions with predicative complement and their equivalents in Czech and Slovak. It is divided into two parts, a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part, I discuss the characteristics of the predicative complement in Spanish and also in Czech and Slovak. I describe its functions and different types. The practical part consists of corpus analysis using the parallel corpora InterCorp and par-skes-2.0. The aim of this thesis is to find out in what different ways six Spanish constructions with predicative complement can be translated into Czech and Slovak. Táto bakalárska práca skúma španielske konštrukcie s doplnkom a ich náprotivky v češtine a slovenčine. Je rozdelená na dve časti, teoretickú a praktickú. V teoretickej časti sa venujem charakteristike doplnku v španielčine, ako aj v češtine a slovenčine. Popisujem jeho funkcie, odlišnosti oproti iným vetným členom a rozličné typy. Praktickú časť tvorí korpusová analýza pomocou paralelných korpusov InterCorp a par-skes-2.0. Cieľom tejto práce je zistiť, akými rôznymi spôsobmi môže byť preložených šesť španielskych konštrukcií s doplnkom do češtiny a slovenčiny.
