Česká reflexivní deagentizace v diachronním pohledu

Abstract

The topic of this thesis is the Czech reflexive agent-demoting construction in a diachronic perspective, i.e., a construction traditionally called reflexive passive (or reflexive impersonal) in which the verb occurs in the reflexive form and the agent is demoted from the subject position. The thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and analytical. The aim of the theoretical part is to incorporate the existing knowledge about the Czech construction in question into the context of both the international literature on the issues of reflexivity or agent demotion and the theoretical linguistic literature in general. In Chapter II.2, I discuss some basic theoretical concepts (especially from the grammaticalization theory), showing how they can be applied to the area of Czech reflexivity and reflexive agent- demoting construction. In Chapter II.3, I deal with the issue of reflexivity: different approaches to the Czech reflexive marker se are compared and thereafter some comprehensive typological descriptions are summarized which allow us to demonstrate to what extent the situation in Czech corresponds to the functional distribution of reflexivity in a cross-linguistic perspective. Tématem disertační práce je česká reflexivní deagentní konstrukce v diachronním pohledu, jedná se o konstrukci tradičně označovanou jako reflexivní pasivum (či reflexivní neosobní konstrukce), v níž se sloveso vyskytuje v reflexivní podobě a agens je odsunut z pozice syntaktického subjektu. Práce sestává ze dvou částí: teoretické a analytické. Cílem teoretické části je zapojit dosavadní poznatky o zkoumané české konstrukci do kontextu mezinárodní lingvistické literatury orientované na problematiku reflexivity či deagentnosti i lingvistické literatury obecně teoretické. V kapitole II.2 se věnujeme základním teoretickým východiskům, především teorii gramatikalizace, přičemž ukazujeme, jak lze různé používané teoretické koncepty aplikovat na oblast české reflexivity a reflexivní deagentní konstrukce. V kapitole II.3 se zabýváme problematikou reflexivity: porovnáváme zde různé přístupy věnující se reflexivu se v češtině, načež reflektujeme některé popisy typologické, na jejichž základě ukazujeme, do jaké míry odpovídá situace v češtině fungování reflexivity v perspektivě kroslingvistické.
