Středověká společnost v díle Hrabě Lucanor

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá středověkou společností v díle Hrabě Lucanor. Zkoumá společenskou a politickou situaci Španělska v dané době. Vysvětluje zařazení díla do literárního kontextu a věnuje se také literárním vzorům, které dílo Juana Manuela ovlivnily, například Disciplina clericalis (Výchova žáků). V díle Hrabě Lucanor najdeme prvky didaktické i beletristické. Autor řeší problém dobra a mravních hodnot, čímž se zároveň dostává k psychologickému rozměru díla a zkoumání duševního rozpoložení jednotlivých postav, což je také předmětem této práce.

The subject of this thesis is the examination of the medieval society as portrayed in Tales of Count Lucanor. It explores the social and political situation in Spain during that time, explains its literary context, while also considering the literary influences that impacted Juan Manuel's work, such as Disciplina clericalis. Tales of Count Lucanor displays both didactic and fictional elements. In his work, the author explores moral values and the issue of "goodness", which lends this literary text its psychological dimension, leading to the exploration of the mental states of individual characters; this is also one of the focal points of this thesis.
