Přechod mladých lidí z dětského domova do samostatného života. Legislativní rámec problematiky

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis examines the transition of young people from orphanages into independent life. The work illustrates the changes these young people experience during late adolescence and the specifics of said changes, which differ from juveniles that have the luxury of growing up in families. The work shows presently practiced legislative procedures focused on the mechanics of their departure from children's homes, wherein I also added space for topics related to their subsequent social support. Similarly, there's also a description of the entities aiding in this stage of the transition. In a segment of the empirical section, with the usage of interviews, I took the liberty to propose changes to above mentioned legislation and with the aid of questionnaires I came to conclusions about their functionality and attainability.

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na přechod mladých lidí z dětského domova do samostatného života. V práci jsou popsány změny, kterými tito mladí lidé prochází v období pozdní adolescence. Poukazuje také na specifika, kterými se odlišují od mladých dospělých vyrůstajících v rodinách. Popis existujících legislativních postupů se zaměřuje na přípravu k odchodu. Prostor byl dán také tématům souvisejícím s následnou podporou mladých dospělých odcházejících z dětských domovů. V rámci této části jsem popsala subjekty, které v tomto období pomáhají. V empirické části jsem za pomocí interview představila návrhy změny této legislativy a pomocí dotazníků došla k závěrům o jejich funkčnosti a dosažitelnosti.
