Abstract

Carolina Coronado is often being compared to Rosalía de Castro or even Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer and the truth is that even Bécquer found his inspiration in her. The fact that in the Czech Republic nobody has ever studied this author before, made me choose her as the subject of my thesis. Writing this work was complicated, since there is no literature available in the Czech Republic regarding this author, so I was constrained to find an appropriate literature in abroad. The goal of this thesis is to present the author and analyze her life and work while taking into account the work of her contemporaries. We are going to study her life and outer impulses that had later influence on her work, just as her first liberal thinking. We are also going to familiarize ourselves with a very original way of composing verses, the very first poetry and publication. We are going to analyze her life together with the political and social situation in Spain. The first biographical part of this thesis is not going to be only theoretical, since we are going to present her work depending on different stages of her life, which is going to be later subject to deeper analyze. Carolina Coronado někdy bývá srovnávána s Rosalíou de Castro a s Gustavem Adolfem Bécquerem a pravdou je, že právě sám Bécquer v této autorce hledal inspiraci. Skutečnost, že se jí v českém prostředí nikdo doposud nevěnoval, byla pro mě motivem k tomu, abych svou diplomovou práci zasvětila právě Carolině Coronado. Velkou komplikací pro mě byl fakt, že v České republice neexistuje žádná literatura, která by se básnířce věnovala. Cílem této práce je krátce představit autorku a analyzovat její dílo v závislosti na tvorbě jiných významných romantických autorů a jejích současníků. Budeme se věnovat jejímu životu a vnějším podnětům, které budou mít později vliv na její romantickou tvorbu. Zjistíme, kdy a proč v autorce zakořenilo první liberální myšlení a seznámíme se s originálním způsobem tvorby veršů, s prvními básněmi a publikací. Budeme analyzovat celý její život a tvorbu v závislosti na politicko-sociální situaci ve Španělsku. První biografická kapitola však nebude čistě teoretická, u jednotlivých etap jejího života budeme postupně představovat její dílo, které bude později předmětem hlubší analýzy.
