Identita maghrebských autorů žijících ve Francii a jejich tamní recepce

Abstract

This bachelor thesis analyses the work and reception of two authors with Maghrebian roots living in France, Leïla Slimani and Faïza Guène. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first, the theoretical part, introduces the two writers and their work, the theory of the literary field by the French literary scholar and sociologist Pierre Bourdieu, and the influence of the social environment on identity. The thesis then examines the link between personal and national identity and language and the aforementioned issues in the context of Francophonie. Furthermore, the thesis comments on the specificities of the French literary field. The second part, the empirical part, focuses on a detailed analysis of the reception of each of Leïla Slimani and Faïza Guène's books and aims to test the hypothesis set out in the introduction that problematic identity causes problems in the literary field. This analysis is carried out using the corpus of media texts and audiovisual and radio interviews we have created and is complemented by a synthesis of the information obtained.

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou tvorby a recepce dvou autorek s maghrebskými kořeny žijících ve Francii, Leïly Slimani a Faïzy Guène. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První, teoretická část, se věnuje představení obou spisovatelek a jejich tvorby, teorii literárního pole francouzského literárního vědce a sociologa Pierra Bourdieua a vlivu sociálního prostředí na identitu. Práce se následně se zabývá propojením osobní i národní identity s jazykem a zmíněné problematice v kontextu frankofonie. Dále práce komentuje specifika francouzského literárního pole. Druhá, empirická část, je zaměřena na detailní analýzu recepce jednotlivých knih Leïly Slimani a Faïzy Guène a jejím cílem je ověřit hypotézu stanovenou v úvodní kapitole, a to, že problematická identita způsobuje problémy v literárním poli. Tato analýza je prováděna pomocí námi vytvořeného korpusu mediálních textů a audiovizuální i rozhlasových rozhovorů a je doplněna syntézou získaných informací.
