Srebrenický masakr v kontextu etnických problémů v Bosně a Hercegovině

Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on ethnic problems in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BaH) in the second half of the 20th century, and especially the reasons that led to the Srebrenica massacre. The aim of the thesis will be to analyze the important causes in the ethnic transformations of BaH that led to the Srebrenica genocide. In the first part of the bachelor thesis I would like to introduce the historical context and the basic data that are important for understanding the later issues. The focus will be on the beginning and course of the civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 1990s. In the second part of my bachelor's thesis, I would like to focus directly on the events in Srebrenica, especially the circumstances that contributed to one of the largest massacres in Europe after 1945. There are many different perspectives on this event and the aim of this thesis will be to orient myself in this situation and try to evaluate everything as objectively as possible.

Cílem mé bakalářské práce je zaměření se na etnické problémy v Bosně a Hercegovině (BaH) ve druhé polovině 20. století, a zejména na důvody, které vedly k masakru ve Srebrenici. Cílem práce je analyzovat důležité příčiny v etnických proměnách BaH, které vedly až ke genocidě ve Srebrenici. V první části bakalářské práce bych chtěla seznámit s historickým kontextem a se základními daty, které jsou důležité pro pochopení pozdějších problémů. Důraz je kladen na počátek a průběh občanské války v Bosně a Hercegovině v 90. letech 20. století. V druhé části bakalářské práce bych se chtěla zaměřit přímo na události ve Srebrenici, především na okolnosti, které se podílely na jednom z největších masakrů v Evropě po roce 1945. Na tuto událost existuje mnoho různých pohledů a cílem této práce bude se v této situaci zorientovat a pokusit se vše co možná nejobjektivněji zhodnotit.
