Aktivizace seniorů v domácím prostředí - příklad pečovatelské a odlehčovací služby Charity Příbram

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of activation of seniors in the home environment, who use the relief service of Caritas Příbram. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part has a total of 7 chapters dealing with topics such as old age, changes associated with this period of life, dementia as one of the possible disabilities in old age. It introduces the types of social services and care for the elderly, acquainted with activities that can be implemented when working with seniors. It is important to focus on individual planning as integral part of providing social services. The thesis also last describes the social service provider Charita Příbram and its relief service. The practical part is based on qualitative methods, namely the participatory observation in the home environment of clients of the relief service Charita Příbram with a combination of non-standardized interviews together with document analysis. The aim of the thesis is to find out and describe how the care of selected clients of the relief service of Charita Příbram in the home environment with emphasis on the applied activation methods, and to evaluate whether the scope of these services covers the individual needs, resources and possibilities of the client. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou aktivizace seniorů v domácím prostředí, kteří využívají odlehčovací službu Charity Příbram. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, a to teoretické a empirické. Teoretická část má celkem 7 kapitol pojednávajících o tématech jako je stáří, změny s tímto životním obdobím spojené, demence jako jedna z možných zdravotních postižení ve stáří. Uvádí druhy sociálních služeb a péče určené pro seniory, seznamuje s aktivitami, které lze při práci se seniory realizovat. Důležité je zaměření na individuální plánování jako nedílnou součást poskytování sociální služby. Práce dále popisuje poskytovatele sociální služby Charitu Příbram a její odlehčovací službu. Praktická část je postavena na kvalitativních metodách, a to konkrétně zúčastněnému pozorování v domácím prostředí klientů odlehčovací služby Charity Příbram s kombinací nestandardizovaných rozhovorů spolu s analýzou dokumentů. Cílem práce je zjistit a popsat, jak probíhá péče u vybraných klientů odlehčovací služby Charity Příbram v domácím prostředí s důrazem na uplatňované aktivizační metody, a zhodnotit, zda rozsah těchto služeb pokrývá individuální potřeby, zdroje a možnosti daného klienta.
