Marína v tvorbě Jana van Goyena a jeho současníků v kontextu českých sbírek

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the selected works of the Dutch marine of the 17th century from the Czech collections, especially from the National Gallery Prague and the Moravian Gallery in Brno. The main emphasis will be focused on the selected works by one of the leading Dutch landscape painters Jan van Goyen and to his contemporaries as well. This thesis deals with Dutch marine in the context of Czech collecting and subsequently in Czech galleries. The art theme of the marine will be presented in the background of the cultural-historical context of the Golden Age of Dutch painting when the development of Dutch marine of the 17th century was conditioned by successful seafaring, which was one of the main pillars of the Dutch economy. Dutch marine will be discussed in the context of the Dutch landscape painting of the 17th century. The method of formal and iconographic analysis will be applied to the selected works. Certain paintings will be further interpreted through the socio-cultural context of the time when the works were created. This bachelor thesis works mainly with Czech collections. The purpose of this work is to reflect the Dutch marine of the 17th century in the context of the Czech collections.

Tato bakalářská práce je věnovaná rozboru vybraných děl s tematikou holandské mariny 17. století z českých sbírek, a to zejména z Národní galerie v Praze a Moravské galerie v Brně. Stěžejní pozornost bude zaměřena na vybraná díla jednoho z předních holandských krajinářů Jana van Goyena a také jeho současníků. Bakalářská práce zkoumá holandskou marinu v kontextu českého sběratelství a následně v českých galeriích. Téma mariny, jakožto výtvarný námět, bude představeno na pozadí kulturně-historických souvislostí doby zlatého věku nizozemské malby, kdy vývoj holandské mariny 17. století byl podmíněn úspěšnou mořeplavbou, která byla jedním z pilířů holandské ekonomiky. Námět holandské mariny bude zasazen do kontextu holandské krajinomalby 17. století. U popisu jednotlivých děl bude uplatněna metoda formální a ikonografické analýzy. Jednotlivá díla budou dále interpretována v rámci socio-kulturního kontextu doby, kdy daná díla vznikala. Tato bakalářská práce pracuje především s českým fondem. Smyslem této práce je snaha reflektovat holandskou marinu 17. století v kontextu českých sbírek.
