uk.abstract.en | The interest in Czech slang in the 1930s was not only the domain of the academic community, but we can also find good collection of data among amateur researchers. This text focuses on the researchneglected work of Jaroslav Podzimek and his fieldwork in the years 1934–1935, which is unique in its focus on the „language“ of the non-settled population. The study compares data from the urban environment, published mainly by German researchers, with data from the so-called itinerant niche and examines their validity at present. | cs |
