Stavební činnost Václava Antonína Chotka: významná rodová sídla

Abstract

The bachelor thesis called Construction activity of Václav Antonín Chotek - significant ancestral residence deals mainly with the construction activities of the V. A. Chotek and his sons in the Baroque era. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part mentions the history of Chotek family, the fortress Bělušice and the Veltrusy Castle which both belong to the main construction activities of Count Chotek. This part also briefly describes other family residences which were maintained, built or reconstructed in Baroque period. In the second part, I want to present more specifically the residences, whose names were mentioned in the first part and which exist mainly thanks to the brothers Jan Karel and Rudolf Chotek. Therefore the second part represents a kind of catalog. All the descriptions are accompanied by pictorial documentation. I also focused here on other builders who participated in constructions or renovations. There are mentioned buildings as the castles in Chlumín and in Třebešice, the estate of Nové Dvory near Čáslav and the castle Myslibořice. Here I will also mention the House U Zlatého melounu which is located in Prague. In the final part, I would like to compare the former form of the settlements with the current one. Anotace Bakalářská práce s názvem Stavební činnost Václava Antonína Chotka - významná rodová sídla se zabývá především stavitelskými aktivitami Václava Antonína Chotka a jeho synů v době barokní. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. V první části je zmíněna historie rodiny Chotků, tvrze v Bělušicích a Veltruského zámku, jakožto hlavních stavebních aktivit hraběte Chotka. V této části také lehce nastíním další rodová sídla, která byla rodinou spravována, vystavěna nebo přebudována v období baroka. V druhé části chci poté představit konkrétněji sídla, jejichž názvy jsem zmínila v části první a mají na nich zásluhu především bratři Jan Karel a Rudolf Chotkovi. Druhá část tedy představuje katalog jednotlivých staveb včetně obrazové dokumentace. Zaměřila jsem se zde také na stavitele, kteří se na stavbách či renovacích podíleli. Jsou zde zmíněny především stavby jako je zámek v Chlumíně, zámek v Třebešicích, panství Nové Dvory u Čáslavi a zámek Myslibořice, zmíním zde i Dům u Zlatého melounu, který se nachází v Praze.
