Bariéry v získávání odborných informací studenty Filozofické Fakulty Univerzity Karlovy

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku informačních bariér u vysokoškolských studentů při získávání odborných informací. Cílem práce je zjištění, zda studenti Filozofické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy naráží na bariéry při získávání odborných informací a pokud ano, tak identifikovat na jaké. V teoretické části se práce zabývá úvodem do problematiky informačních bariér uvedeného do širšího kontextu informačního chování, jeho výzkumu a jemu příbuzných fenoménů. Praktická část práce obsahuje kvalitativní výzkum informačních bariér uskutečněný mezi studenty FF UK s použitím dotazníkové metody. V kontextu informačních bariér je i následně zkoumáno informační prostředí FF UK.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of information barriers of university students when obtaining professional information. The aim of the thesis is to find out if students at the Charles University Faculty of Arts struggle with barriers when obtaining professional information, and if so, then to identify with which ones. The theoretical part contains the introduction to the topic of information barriers set into the broader context of information behaviour, its research and other related phenomenons. The research part of the thesis contains a qualitative research of information barriers carried out among students of the Faculty of Arts with the use of a questionnaire. Also, the information environment of the faculty is examined in the context of information barriers.
