Bakalářská práce se skládá z překladu druhé kapitoly z knihy The Devil's Delusion: Atheism and its Scientific Pretensions Davida Berlinského z angličtiny do češtiny a následného komentáře překladu. Komentář sestává z profilu cílového textu, analýzy vnitrotextových a vnětextových faktorů textu výchozího, popisu překladatelské metody, typologie překladatelských problémů a typologie překladatelských posunů. This bachelor thesis focuses on the translation of the second chapter of The Devil's Delusion: Atheism and its Scientific Pretensions by David Berlinski from English to Czech. It consists of two parts, the first one is the translated text itself and the second is a commentary on this translation. The commentary begins with a profile of the target text, an analysis of the source material and a description of my translation method.
