Rodiny pečující o seniory

Abstract

Téma bakalářské práce se zabývá rodinami, které pečují o seniory. Text je rozdělen do dvou částí. První část obsahuje teoretická východiska jako je např. proces stáří a stárnutí, osobností seniora a jeho potřeb. V rámci procesu stáří hraje důležitou roli společnost a její postoje k této sociální skupině. Druhá část zahrnuje charakteristiku a klasifikaci rodinné péče o staré lidi. Zabývá se schopností zajišťovat péči seniorovi v rámci rodiny. Ukazuje na možné problémy a úskalí pečujících i samotných seniorů jako např. závislost na rodinné péči. V rámci této problematiky existují určité formy pomoci ze strany státu a různých nestátních isntitucí poskytujících sociální služby. Jednou z určitých forem pomoci je i zákon o sociálních službách, který nově upravuje podmínky pro poskytovatele a uživatele sociálních služeb. Tyto legislativní změny a podmínky jsou reflektovány uživateli- seniory a také poskytovateli sociálních služeb - pracovníky pečovatelské služby. The topic of my Bachelor thesis is called "Families taking caring of seniors". This text is divided into two parts. The first part speaks generally about eldery age.It focuses on the definition of the eldery age and the process of ageing. The important aspect is the personality of the particular senior and his or her needs. The attitudes of the society towards elderly people are also described in this chapter. The second part includes the characteristics and classification of family care about elderly people. This theme concentrates on care of the seniors by their family. In this case the elderly people usually feel dependent on their family. There are some solutions of such situations, for instance: the society establishes some institutions which try to help families and these people. One of the many institutions is day care. The government set out a new law about social service which can help every person who needs social care. The law states some conditions for users and for institutions that provide social care and services. This bachelor thesis tries to give some reflection of the new law concerning social services in terms of family care.
