Práce je rozdělená na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá anatomií ženské reprodukční soustavy, přenosem, léčbou a prevencí rakoviny děložního čípku, další kapitola teoretické části se věnuje ošetřovatelskou péčí o ženu s karcinomem děložního hrdla. Závěr teoretické části se zabývá pojmy adolescence a zdravotní gramotnost. V empirické části jsou zaznamenány znalosti matek a jejich dcer ve věku mezi 12-14 lety o karcinomu děložního čípku, anatomii ženské reprodukční soustavy, nejčastějších rizikových faktorech, očkovacích vakcínách a významu preventivní gynekologické prohlídky. K výzkumu byla použita metoda kvantitativního výzkumného přístupu pomocí dotazníku. Výsledky jsou prezentovány formou přehledných tabulek a grafů. S ohledem ke zjištěným výsledkům, bude pro dívky vypracováno video.

The study is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part addresses the anatomy of the female reproductive system, transmission, treatment, and prevention of cervical cancer, following section of the theoretical part focuses on nursing care for a woman with cervical cancer. At the end of the theoretical part, the concepts of adolescence and health literacy are described. The empirical section incorporates the resulting knowledge of mothers and their daughters aged between 12 and 14 years about the prevention of cervical cancer, the anatomy of the female reproductive system, most common risk factors, vaccines, and the importance of preventive gynecological examinations.
