Abstract

v českém jazyce: Rigorózní práce Životní příběh apoštola Filipa podle biblických a nebiblických pramenů se zabývá životem a posláním Ježíšova učedníka Filipa, jehož jméno se vyskytuje v evangeliích v seznamu Dvanácti a individuálně vystupuje jen zřídka. Z těchto důvodů se jeho postavě v bádání dostává jen okrajového zájmu. Vedle přehledu o výskytu jména Filip v biblických i nebiblických pramenech práce nabízí literární i jazykovou analýzu jednotlivých perikop ze synoptických evangelií, Janova evangelia a Skutků apoštolů, jejíž závěry slouží k podrobné historicko-teologické interpretaci jednotlivých textů se zaměřením na témata související zejména s původem, posláním, mentalitou, sociálním postavením a působením apoštola Filipa, jako Ježíšova učedníka uvnitř kruhu Dvanácti. Pozornost je zde věnována rovněž výskytu této postavy v nebiblických pramenech a také jejímu vztahu k osobě stejného jména, jáhnu - evangelistu Filipovi.

v anglickém jazyce: Licentiate Thesis The life story of the Apostle Philip according to biblical and non-biblical sources deals with the life and mission of Jesus' disciple Philip, whose name appears in the Gospels in the list of the Twelve, and rarely occurs as an individual. For these reasons, his research gets only marginal interest among scholars. Besides an overview of the occurrence of the name Filip in both biblical and non-biblical sources, the study offers literary and linguistic analysis of relevant pericopes from synoptic gospels, the John's Gospel and the Acts of the Apostles, whose conclusions serve for a detailed historical-theological interpretation of selected texts with a focus on topics related mainly to origin, mission, the mentality, the social status and actions of the Apostle Philip as Jesus' disciple within the community of the Twelve. The Licentiate Thesis also takes into account the occurrence of this character in non-biblical sources and his relation to the person of the same name, the deacon-evangelist Philip.
