Brundibár ve "Sladkém Theresienstadtu" - Uvedení Brundibára v terezínském ghettu.

Abstract

The thesis deals with the practising theatre and other cultural activities in Theresienstadt Ghetto during the World War II. It focuses mainly on the staging of children's opera Brundibar. In the first part it deals with the cultural context in Theresienstadt in general and introduces the readers to Kurt Gerron and his propaganda movie "The Führer gives the City to the Jews". The second part concentrates then on the opera Brundibar, which it analyses, contextualizes and tries to bring closer the meaning of Brundibar for the audience of Theresienstadt. Bakalářská práce se věnuje provozování divadla a dalších kulturních akcí v terezínském ghettu za druhé světové války. Zaměřovat se však bude především na uvedení dětské opery Brundibár. První část práce se bude zabývat kulturním kontextem v Terezíně obecně a seznámí čtenáře s Kurtem Gerronem a jeho propagandistickým filmem "Vůdce daroval Židům město". V druhé části se pak zaměří na operu Brundibár, kterou zanalyzuje, zasadí do kontextu a pokusí se přiblížit význam Brundibára pro terezínské obecenstvo.
