Předmětem této práce je tematizování vztahu člověka a dimenze božství, jak se s ním u pozdního Heideggera můžeme setkat. Budu postupovat následujícím způsobem: V první kapitole uvedu do širšího kontextu Heideggerova života jeho zájem o Hölderlinovu poezii. Souvisí to s otázkou Boha u Heideggera. V jejím rámci bude pojednána inspirace, kterou Heidegger z Hölderlina čerpal. V druhé kapitole této práce nejprve vezmu přednášku Básnicky bydlí člověk "tak jak jde" a pokusím se vyzdvihnout témata, která budou samostatně pojednána v následující, poněkud fragmentální kapitole třetí. Fragmenty, podkapitoly, pojednávají jednotlivá Heideggerova stanoviska k otázce člověka a jeho bytí pod nebesy. Snažím se v nich uvést jednotlivá tvrzení, teze do širších souvislostí Heideggerova pozdního období. Podkapitoly jsou pojmenovány v souladu s Heideggerovou terminologií. Kapitola čtvrtá je přemostěním mezi závěrem a třetí kapitolou. Řeším v ní problém autenticity pobytu. Ta je, jak se pokusím ukázat, opředena Heideggerovými tvrzeními, sporným místem, či místem, které rozpory indikuje. V páté, poslední kapitole jde o zodpovězení otázky vztahu člověka a dimenze božství, tak jak ho Heidegger vykládá. Snažím se v ní shrnout doposavadní poznatky do uceleného rámce, který je současně mapou pozdního Heideggerova chápání existence...
