Zasadzuje ho do širšieho kontextu medzivojnového Československa pričom sa snaží nachádzať prejavy väčších hospodárskych cyklov a modernizačných procesov v rámci špecifík tohto ekonomicky zaostalého územia, pre ktoré sú charakteristické takmer úplná absencia priemyslu a surovinových zdrojov. Pramennou základňou práce sú fondy uložené v pobočke Štátneho archívu v Žiline v Čadci. Jedná sa hlavne o materiály Okresného živnostenského spoločenstva v Čadci.
The following bachelor thesis studies the industrial development of the "Čadca district" between the years 1918 and 1939. It is brought to the broader context of the interwar Czechoslovakia while attepting to find manifestations of greater industrial cycles and modernization processes in terms of this region specifics as an economically benighted area for which almost total absence of industry and raw materials sources is characteristic. The sources of information for the thesis are based on the fonds of the State Archive of Žilina situated in Čadca. The materials are mainly taken from the local trading company of the Čadca district.
