Vztahy mezi vesnickým obyvatelstvem a psychiatrickou léčebnou v Horních Beřkovicích v letech 1968-1989

Abstract

Presented Bachelor Thesis Connexions between village population and the insane asylum in Horní Beřkovice in the years 1968-1989 is a contribution to the theme of Czechoslovak psychiatry and its relation to ordinary people during the period of normalization in Czechoslovakia. The aim of my work is to bring people's views closer to the institution, which have evolved and dynamically changed over the years. Based on interviews with narrators, residents of the village and former employees of the asylum that I did during field research, I describe their memories in contrast to the history of the asylum. Thus, the thesis deals with a rather subjective view of the entire history of the period under review and, besides the chronicle records, also brings the views of the respondents to the situation at that time.

Předkládaná bakalářská práce Vztahy mezi vesnickým obyvatelstvem a psychiatrickou léčebnou Horní Beřkovice v letech 1968-1989 je příspěvkem k tématu československé psychiatrie a jejího vztahu vůči obyčejným lidem v období normalizace v Československu. Cílem mé práce je přiblížení pohledů lidí na instituci, které se v průběhu let různě vyvíjely a dynamicky měnily. Na základě rozhovorů s narátory, tedy obyvateli vesnice i bývalými zaměstnanci léčebny, které jsem v průběhu terénního výzkumu podnikl, popisuji jejich vzpomínky v kontrastu s dějinami léčebny. Práce se tedy zabývá spíše subjektivním pohledem na celou historii sledovaného období a vedle kronikářských záznamů přináší i názory dotázaných osob na tehdejší situaci.
